Of the total number of workers applying for the job, only 28% are shortlisted for a job interview and out of which, only 23% are selected for the job leading to a 94% overall drop off. A large percentage of worker fail the interview because they are less acquainted with the formal interview processes and therefore lose out on the job opportunity.
At the same time, the job fulfilment rate stands at a low of only 15% which shows a large gap between the demand for good candidates and short supply of interview-ready workers.
